Super Bowl LII, February 4, 2018

Today’s speaker, Alex Tittle, serves as Vice President of Business Connect and Corporate Affairs for the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee.

The job of the host committee is to deliver an unparalleled Super Bowl experience for attendees while generating a significant economic impact for the state and facilitating a lasting legacy for the state. The host committee serves as the liaison between the National Football League and the local community and plans activities in the lead-up to the game.

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sports and marketing events each year and Minnesota is proud to host millions of visitors from around the globe—not just to our state, but to the Minnesota state of mind: The Bold North. As one of the most watched events in the world, the Super Bowl instantly puts our state in the national spotlight.

Beyond its star power, Super Bowl 52 will be an engine for growth and opportunity for our state. The game is expected to have an economic impact of more than $400 million. It will attract millions of first-time tourists, and will welcome thousands of members of the media filing stories on just about every facet of Minnesota life.

If you'd like to help, there's a way for all Minnesotans to get involved with the Super Bowl. There are volunteer and paid positions, corporate partnerships, and, for local businesses, Business Connect. Visit for more information or to volunteer.
